Surveillance of Self (2018)
09:45m MP4
This work is to do with the fact that we are all obsessed with the private. When lights are on in homes during hours of dark we peer in, to see interiors, to see bodies, to see activities. This video explores the public and the private. My solo remote behaviors exposed for anyone who wants to look.
It’s to do with the banality of human existence. The relatability of repetitious household chores, life chores. Essentially just a pretty basic hominid habitation. Stalking of the self. Surveillance of Self.
